Susan Lovell
About My Journey
From an early fascination with visual storytelling to leading high-impact design teams, Susan Lovell’s career has been a journey of creativity, strategy, and transformation. With an innate ability to blend artistry with technology and business objectives, she has spent years shaping brands, refining workflows, and creating compelling visual experiences that resonate.
Her story unfolds across multiple industries, each chapter marked by innovation. At Reading Horizons, Susan didn’t just design—she elevated brand engagement, leading a full website redesign that modernized the company’s digital presence. She crafted marketing templates that streamlined execution, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. Every asset she developed contributed to a larger narrative: one of clarity, impact, and brand cohesion.
Before that, as Director of Creative Services at Evan-Moor, Susan led a team of multi-tiered designers, managers, and creatives. She built workflows that optimized product development, introduced cost-saving measures, and implemented a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to organize 40+ years of creative assets. Her leadership shaped not just individual projects, but the very foundation of how Evan-Moor’s design team operated.
But Susan’s expertise isn’t confined to corporate roles. Through Susan Lovell Design, she has partnered with educational publishers, marketing teams, and small businesses, crafting branding solutions, WordPress websites, and digital marketing collateral that amplify client visibility. She’s more than a designer—she’s a strategic thinker, bringing creative direction to industries that need it most.
With proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Figma, project management tools, and digital marketing platforms, Susan seamlessly adapts to the evolving design landscape. Whether leading a creative team, reimagining a brand’s digital presence, or crafting print and digital assets, her mission remains the same: to transform complex ideas into visually stunning, user-centric experiences.
Her story isn’t just about design—it’s about impact.
